DAKAM has been publishing academic books in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and architecture with an interdisciplinary perspective since 2011. DAKAM Publishing House is recognized as an international academic publisher, meeting the criteria set by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey for Associate Professor applications. Since 2011, we have been dedicated to publishing interdisciplinary academic works in humanities, social sciences, and architecture.
Notable publications include Death, Art, and Space, Architecture and Autonomy, Climate Change, and Cities. Additionally, we have published numerous conference proceedings and journals such as IJAUS and IJSSIS.
The recently launched Contemporary Issues in Architecture and Urban Design Series aims to deal with contemporary issues, challenges, and discussions with high academic standards. As part of the series, Calls for Book Chapters are regularly announced to invite scholars from different parts of the world to contribute to DAKAM Book's series. All series books will be double-blind peer-reviewed and include several authors.
